Dalam hal ini hasil yang diperoleh ada dua kemungkinan, yaitu:
1. Jalur Hijau ‘green line’ : Barang langsung dapat keluar setelah dokumennya diperiksa.
2. Jalur Merah ‘red line’ : Barang perlu diperiksa fisiknya oleh Bea Cukai. Setelah mendapat respon EDI/PPJK, baru mendapat deklarasi impor (NOTUL) dari kantor pabean bahwa barang telah selesai diproses dan barang boleh keluar.
Jika barang impor mendapat NOTUL (Pajak Pertambahan Nilai), bayar dahulu pajak pertambahan nilai untuk mendapat SPPB (Surat Perintah Pengeluaran Barang) atau deklarasi impor dari Imigrasi.
Seluruh dokumen impor seperti PIB, Pembayaran Bea Masuk, kopi Air Way Bill, kopi Bill of Lading dan lain-lain diberikan kepada perusahaan undername, sedangkan kopiannya untuk pemilik barang.
